We can finally shout about the new NHS national testing portal for hepatitis C, which was announced publicly this weekend.

nuom were appointed to conduct the discovery and design phase of this vital new service and we’re delighted to see it live!

We developed a user-centred service design for a very diverse range of target users (risk groups), with an aim to eliminate hepatitis C in the UK by 2025. You can find out about our approach and the insights we unearthed in our new case study: Hepatitis C National Testing Portal Case Study.

The service that we designed made homepage news on the BBC, in a great article that you can read here: BBC News: Hepatitis C home test kits available to most-at-risk in England.

The article sheds light on the complexity of the problem, especially for high-risk groups from South Asia, and the need for a service that works for them.
